Our Bapedi Solar Project paves the way for a brighter, greener future.

We are in advanced stages of developing our 500 MW Bapedi Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project located approximately 5 kms outside of the Senwabarwana town in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

  • Bapedi Solar Power Plant is located 5 km outside of the town of Senwabarwana, within the Blouberg Local Municipality, Limpopo Province, South Africa

  • The total installed capacity of the project is expected to be 500MW

  • The project will comprise of three sub-projects (2x 200MW projects and 1x 100MW project) developed on land extending 1 400 hectares.

  • It will connect to the grid via a Loop-in loop-out to a 132kV line which is located 5kms from the site. The 132KV line in turn connects to the Eskom Tabor MTS

  • The estimated annual avoided CO₂ emissions for the 500MW solar project would be approximately 9.1 million tonnes
